I bought this board a few months ago and I will say that the swap feature is pretty handy. I will also say that Ideazon needs to work on their customer service. I lost my install and wanted to get it replaced. Ideazon's website requires you log in and fill out this overly lengthy system specs form EACH and EVERY you ask a question or respond to one. I for one value customer service very high and seems to me they are trying to hide here. Good luck finding an email address to write to. Great product, hope nothing goes wrong with it though.

The keyboards driver software is a resource hog and buggy.

They are aware of the problems yet have not fixed them via update.

There message boards are flooded with complaints yet they offer no customer service.


HORRIBLE Stay away.

Normaly I would be gaming right now, but the Zboard is so buggy I can't play and no one is open right now for me to purchase a alternative.

Cons: Swapping keysets don't work for some games.

I use the Neverwinter Nights and Battlefield 2 keysets a lot. I have no trouble switching back and forth to the regular keyboard if I need to type. If you play a game in which you touchtype a lot you need to use an appropriate keyset (Neverwinter nights or the standard keyset works). FPS this does not for good reason.

Swapping keysets in some games is not advised unless you have a lot of system memory. I have 1 gig and cannot swap in oblivion without problems. NWN and BF I have no problem

CONS
Round button keysets (NWN) good for typing - less errors.
BF2 and custom FPS keysets have nice big WASDQE keys for moving.

Pros:
Most games are supported.
Swapping keysets is easy.
Wife cannot figure out how to login using BF2 keyset.
Gameplay noticably smoother due to input (simultaneous keystrokes supported for some games).
