Pros: Small, lightweight, flexible; easy to use. Cons: No power off switch.

Pros: easy to use, good quality prints, can work without a computer Cons: paper and cartridges get expensive if you do a lot of printing
Last year my oldest daughter wanted a digital camera for her birthday. When I considered that, I debated what to do about printing them. On the computer for our kids we had a Canon printer that was about five years old and which wasn’t that great ...
Pros: Smudge-free prints, accurate color & detail, travel-size Cons: Cost per print is notably high when compared to alternatives, slightly soft edges on photos

Kodak EASYSHARE Printer Dock by samtom ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: Fast easy to use great quality photo's and beautiful colors great quality Cons: Need a computer to edit photos
I found the printer dock easy to use, I bought this product because bought an EASYSHARE camera. Its great as the simple touch of a button the photo's print at you own home also able to edit photo's on your own computer to be printed to dock. Beautiful colors lovely and bright. Great Quality.
Pros: ease of use with easy share cameras. Cons: none so far
I purchased this printer yesterday (6/12/05) at the local Target Store. It was $129.00 plus tax so better than the price at Shopping.com which is kinda rare for me to find. It was correctly identified as a great printer and it is.
Pros: Ease of use with easyshare software Cons: doesn't work anymore!
I have a printer dock plus and my parents do as well. It would be fantastic if it worked! Both mine and my parents have stopped auto feeding paper. Of course, this happened just AFTER the factory warranty ran out! I was hand feeding the paper (which is a pain when you are printing 50 or so pictures) until today when it won't even take hand fed paper! When it worked, I loved how easy it was to use, especially with the kodak easyshare software, but now its useless!
Pros: No computer needed to print the pictures. You can take it anywhere. Cons: no on/off switch so it is on 24/7
I got this printer as a "bundle" with my digital camera. I love it. It was easy to set up and use. It is small and lightweight, and literally sits in my husbands hands!
It was easy to set up. I took out the "mini" ink cartridge and installed it then took the 10 sheets of paper and put them in the paper tray, slid the paper tray in the front of the printer dock and I was ready to print. Just make sure you have plenty of room to print as the paper slides out the back of the docking station. You do need to use their "packaged" ink and paper though as they have tabs on the paper for this printer, that rip off after you print them.
super quality & lot of fun! by kcmargulies ,Mar 13 '05
Pros: wonderful, rich, creamy colors, fun to use. Cons: good for normal 5x7s, but when does an 8x10 come out?
I bought the printer along with my Kodak DX-7630 camera (6.1 megapixels) for a low price. The printer uses dye sublimation technology, not like ink-jets. what that means is the prints look exactly like those produced by a photo shop. The prints do no smudge like an ink jet, and there are no "dots" or pixels as you get close to the prints. The colors are smooth and rich, and each print has a clear coat that protects the print from UV light, spills, fingerprints, and fading. Best of all, the printer is fun to use. Great prints in about 1 minute right before your eyes, and you can use the printer without a computer. If you do decide to hook it to a computer (very simple), you can also use the printer dock to send pictures via e-mail. Kodak makes it easy for the consumer. A home run!
Problems with paper tray, "load paper", "load paper"... by dimagu ,Jan 25 '06
Pros: Great quality of photos Cons: Cant print damn it! What good a PRINTer does if it can't PRINT???
There is one problem with this printer...it can't pick up and recognize it's own paper. At the beginning it seems to work fine. You pay 25 bucks for 40 sheets, you load 20 sheets and start printing photos. Great. Great quality, lots of fun. But when you have about 5 pages remaining printer gives you an error message saying that you have to "load paper". Here is how you can solve the problem with EASY-share-NOT printer: try to reset it by unplugging the power cord, then when you hear the noise and rolling rollers of the printer - quickly lift and push up and down the paper tray - help those rollers to catch the paper. Lots of fun. Not.
I dont think its an accident. I bought one printer from K-Mart and thanks to their 90 day return policy got rid of it right in time. Second printer I got from Wal Mart and it was a more advanced model but guess what......it has the same damn problem. I suggest you go with HP or Olympus or Canon, Sony whatever else is there available. Kodak doesnt work.
Kodak Easy Share...G600 by jg22gardner ,May 11 '08
Pros: Starts out great..... Cons: loses functionality quickly.
When I first purchased the Kodak EasyShare G600 printer dock, I absolutely loved it. Now this thing doesn't auto feed it's own paper...so I have to sit by and lift up each print piece by piece so it recognizes that it is not out of paper. And, just recently, it is telling me that I need to replace the ink cartridge- even though the ink cartridge is not empty. It is only printing on a portion of the paper and giving me this error message. I will look for a replacement dock only because I do like my Kodak camera. If it wasn't for the camera, I would be skipping another kodak dock altogether.
Great......while it worked by mcgwire7199 ,Jul 13 '06
Pros: Charges camera, multiple copies on one 4x6 sheet Cons: Can't turn off
My wife purchased the Easy Share camera and Printer Dock as a bundled package. We found it very easy to set up and use. The starter kit had 10 sheets of 4x6 paper and a thermal cartridge for the ten prints. I paid $25 for a box of 40 sheets of paper and cartridge at a local office store. (The price has since come down) I haven't used maybe 20 of the sheets and we now have a problem. We only get print on half of the paper. I tried a new thermal cartridge, but that did not resolve the problem. Kodak wants $80 to fix it. I will be looking for a new all in one that prints photos. They usually run from $80 to $150. Hope you have better luck with the Kodak printer than we did. (The camera is great)
