Microsoft (n73-00012) Mouse

Pros: Nice shaped mouse
Cons: Huge base station with cable hidden in box not cordless mouse

I bought this product because the packaging says it has 3 times the battery life of other cordless optical mice. The box cunningly conceals the contents - why? And only when I got it home did I find it has a huge base station and cord to which the mouse communicates.
Compared with other cordless mice which have a tiny USB dongle this is awful.
SO I took it back to PC World and got my money back.
BUT why Microsoft make no mention of the huge base station, nor even the contents of the box, and ensure all this gubbins is well hidden inside a cardboard box, with only the mouse itself in clear plastic beats me, unless they are trying to deceive buyers, which they did with me.
But they lost a sale and made me angry in the process.
