Just a Trim will do

by Kalani67 , Jul 17 '06
Pros: Small, portable, easy to use, and convenient trimmer
Cons: Sharp, no guard on the trimmer, long batter charge time
I know the Norelco D350 D-Finer Precise Rechargeable Cordless Shaper trimmer has been out on the market for a while now, but I want to tell you about the trimmer that I’ve been using for several years now… Several years ago, my current trimmer ...

THE POWER OF PRECISION: It's Not How Big It Is, It's How You Use It!

by mmpickering , Jan 12 '04
Pros: Small and Lightweight; Comfortable Grip; Easy to Use; Impressive Amount of Cutting Power!
Cons: Requires 10 Hour Charge For 40 Minute Use; Popup Trimmer Is Not Angled.
Gone are the days where BIGGER is better. Cell phones are getting smaller. Home stereo speakers are taking less and less floor and shelf space. Computers are shrinking in size as we speak! Sometimes I think the only things getting bigger are my ...

The Answer for Straight Beard Necklines and Sideburns

by jimbarbasol , Jan 17 '04
Pros: Close shave, solid-feeling in hand.
Cons: No hard storage case, somewhat long charging time, pop-up trimmer has no guard.
I bought the Norelco D-Finer for two very simple reasons: one, I am a big fan of Norelco/Philishave products, and, two, due to the odd shape of the Norelco/Philishave shaver head, I found it impossible to define straight sideburns and a straight beard ...

D-Finer, not d-best, not d-worst
by brutraveler ,Feb 20 '04
Pros: Quality product; good for extra fine detail work with facial hair.
Cons: Separate trimmer needed for any other facial hair grooming; long charging time for rechargable batteries.
I purchased the Norelco D-Finer groomer to help groom my goatee, which I recently grew a few months ago. I would give it a "Good" rating overall. One caveat is that you need a separate beard & mustache trimmer to start with, for the D-Finer is really only useful for fine details and line sculpting. Another is that if you don't have a heavy 5 O'Clock shadow and a tightly follicled beard, the D-Finer doesn't work to its full advantage. In other words, if your facial hair is sparse in spots, the D-Finer is too advanced for your needs. That is the main issue I had with it. The quality is definitely there in the product, it's just you have to really NEED one of these to get the full value out of it.

Simply the best trimmer,shaper yet
by radsticles ,Dec 25 '03
Pros: Powerful, well made, quiet, style, size of foil perfect, price seems high but worth it.
Cons: Battery maintainance instructions seem like a real pain. Can't keep it on constant charge.
First off, I am a hairy beast. I grow hair in all the places I don't desire hair to grow;ears, nose, behind my sideburns, everywhere except my head. I own just about every ear nose and beard trimmer on the market. They all serve their purpose. My former favorite,Remingtons multi attachment groomer, is a very good product and I gave it a very high review. But this Norelco is far superior. The quality is much better. Much quieter, much less vibration, smoother and cleaner trimming and doesn't have the plastic feel of the Remington. Does a better job than my 2nd favorite, the micro pen type trimmer, which is not powerful enuf but trims close and gets in the tightest of areas. This trimmer feels gr8 to hold and use,and Norelco should add that it's a nose and ear hair trimmer as well, and the best I've tried yet. Wisks away hairs with ease
