I have owned a Panasonic A-110 DVD Player for about 6 Years now and it has exceeded my expectations. However, I recently purchased a Toshiba HDTV and wanted to purchase a Progressive Scan DVD Player. Given my past experience with my Panasonic A-110, I wanted to buy another Panasonic. So far, I have been very, very pleased with the Panasonic DVD S47.
Note: To turn off the Annoying Blue Neon Light on the front of the DVD Player: You press "Setup" on Remote->"Other"->FL Dimmer. You can switch it completely off or select "Auto".
The "Auto" setting automatically shuts the neon light off after 10 seconds.
