Pros: Good sound quality, digital answering system, two headsets, many additional features Cons: Price
Background A little over a year ago, I decided that I was going to join the 2.4 GHz phone revolution. I was still using a very old, very mediocre Radioshack 900MHz cordless phone. So I went to my neighborhood Target (I mention the name of the ...
Pros: Lots of features, easy set up, digital answering machine, two handsets and bases, headset jack Cons: None
I can still vividly remember my first cordless phone, it wasnt the smallest thing but it was easy to use and had crystal clear reception. Over the years I have gone through a lot of phones; most of them would die after about a year and a half ...
Pros: Call quality, user friendly, mobile speakerphone, two handsets Cons: Small message recording capacity
Update: As of today (13 Feb 09) this phone is still working, though I've had to replace the batteries just recently.________Original review:It took Panasonic a long time to resolve the deficiencies with its 2.4 GHz ...
Pros: Appearance, ease of use, feels durable and comfortable. Excellent clarity. Great phonebook, wallmount. Cons: Not much. Annoying loud fax tones on phone from my fax. Worth the higher price.
We have had this phone for about 8 months. It is our first multi-handset system. I definitely recommend it. We needed to replace a 900 mhz phone with answering machine - the handset had been dropped too often and finally died. We needed a wallmount, ...
Pros: User friendly, two handsets, nice feel, LOW price! Cons: Ring/voice volume could be louder
I bought this phone after moving down to Florida from Delaware. My old phone/answering machine was also Panasonic, but it was a 5 year old 900 MHz that still worked but was given to a friend upon my departure. So, I needed a new phone/answering machine. ...
do not even think about buying this phone by chumm ,Jun 24 '05

Excellent Telephone: Unless you intend to use the speaker phone feature! by corvine7 ,Nov 07 '04
Pros: Great clarity / many features. Cons: Speaker phone is 100% useless!
That's because you must pick up the handset before you can use the speaker phone! Smart, ha? Yes, you got it. The handset must be removed from the base unit before you are able to use the speaker phone. So what is the point you may ask? Excellent question. If you set the handset down on your desk it's impossible to press any of the buttons because of its curved design: it spins around like a top! So, to paraphrase: you can use hands-free while holding it only... what a joke.
Panasonic KX_TG2344B Function, Form and Quality by pflygirl ,Mar 01 '05
Pros: Sound clarity, 2 handset and answering machine Cons: none that I know of
After a brief stint with a lesser quality Uniden 2 handset model, I am MUCH happier with this Panasonic purchase. The 2.4 GHz Panasonic far exceeds the 5.8 Uniden in regards to sound quality and clarity. Phonebook functions are more extensive as well. There are 7 ringtone options.
My first reaction in looking for a 2 handset system with answering machine was that there was no way it should cost more than $50-$60. Those models just didn't cut it. Going the additional $25 with this Panasonic model has made all the difference. Full price at Target was $99.
The base is located in the kitchen of our 1800 sq.ft. home and the phone works outdoors, not interference, no dropped calls, no static. Thank goodness.
Great phone. Just a few additions to previous reviews by guppi ,Nov 20 '04
Pros: great sound, functionality, good user interface, quite ergonomic, good battery life Cons: bad ring tones
I recently bought this set of phones for 30$(!) off ebay. In good as new condition. I mostly agree with the previous (positive) reviews and will not write a full review myself but just briefly add a few points:
1) I tried the Voice enhancer feature and (as the first reviewer) found it very unnatural sounding at first. So I quickly turned it off again. But I gave it another chance and turned it on for several minutes. After a very short while you get completely used to the sound and going back (switching it off) feels like a dramatic decrease in audio quality.
But with or without it, the sound quality of this phone is very good.
2) Nobody has mentioned the ring tones yet (I think). They are bad. There is only 3 actual ringing tones and another 4 melodies (hate those!). Out of the 3 ringing tones only the first one is acceptable, but it is a very boring official sounding ring tone. Disappointing, but of course not a huge deal.
Pros: caller ID, speaker phone, phone book Cons: clarity is HORRIBLE
This phone system has some great features, if only you could have a conversation through all the static. It is hard to hear the person calling, and the other party can't hear you. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
Olympus TP-7 Telephone Recording Device Ever need to record an important telephone conversation? The TP-7, telephone pickup, makes phone recording two sides of the conversation.
