Pros: Screen Enhancements and Screen Saving Ability Cons: Semi-Direct Viewing

Pros: Widescreen, Full HD 1080i 480P, Great Picture,Good Price Cons: Not viewable at all angles, one hd component input,no DVI input, convergence tricky to use.

Move into the future

Pros: Great picture quality; not overwhelmingly large Cons: Brightness changes as you move about a room
If you are currently in the market for a new primary television, a high-definition set is the way to go. After all, within a couple of years HDTV will be the industry standard.
This set, the 46-inch Philips Projection Television, is an outstanding choice.
The set is a big screen and provides an eye-popping change in viewing pleasure from a standard 27-32 inch set. Yet, it is not so large that it overwhelms a room. It is also thin enough that, placed against a wall, it won't take up much floor space.
Wondering about picture quality? The Philips offers a crystal clear, bright picture. If you love to watch sports, this TV can make you feel like the action is landing right in your lap.
The only drawback is that if you are standing or moving about a room, the brightness of what you are viewing can change.
In all, this model is well worth the investment.
