Pros: small, first mp3 player Cons: only holds 1 battery, less features.
I believe that Rio 300 was the very first mp3 player that came out in the US. I may be wrong, but seems like it to me.
The Rio mp3 player is a great mp3 player, but the bad part is that it's build-in memory card, so that means if you messed up...

Pros: cheap, as opposed to anything else Cons: very limited space, space upgrade very expensive
The mp3 player is a product that has been overrated. I, a couple months back, bought the diamond rio pmp3 300. It was nice, but i was shocked at how little it could hold, but that didn't sway me much, because i still didn't want to be bound to cds and...

Pros: convenient for recently downloaded mp3s Cons: only holds 30minutes at CD quality, doesn't work well, etc etc etc
my sony discman had recently endured .. some physical trauma, so i decided i'd buy something new to listen to on busrides. i was enticed by the mp3 player concept, as they are so high tech and new and whatnot, and being somewhat a techie myself it seemed...

Pros: lightweight, cheap Cons: not enough memory
I bought my Rio at an online auction for $140 with a fifty-dollar rebate, so the total price was ninety dollars. I use it all the time especially when I walk my dog, jogging ect... It is a first generation device so it only has 32 megabytes of memory,...

Pros: great features, great products, great price... Cons: Only 32MB...
Personally I am really happy with this product. It works great and has a nice feature set. I am not saying that you can't find something better but I doubt you will find it for the same price.
I gave this product a 9 out of 10.

This is the Rio pmp300. This mp3 player was the one that started the portable mp3 revolution even though it wasn't the first. The Rio is made by dimond multimedia and its a portable mp3 player with 32mb of flash memory. I got this mp3 player for 55.00...

Pros: good quality sound, easy to use, decent software, lightweight Cons: very little memory, long download times, weak battery cover, sound quality, tech-support
I got this little toy as a birthday gift, and I'm not going to lie. When I first installed the software and tried it out, I was blown away. After a day or two, though, the novelty were off. Maybe I expected a little much from this first generation...

Pros: best price, good deal Cons: no 'off' button, SDMI
After having several hundred MP3's, i asked for a RioPmp300 for Christmas, and got one. This has been a dream come true, it is small, duriable, and good sound quility. Once i got one, within a paycheck's time, 4 of my pals got the rio, and a month...

Pros: Small and Light Cons: Too Little Space, TOO EXPENSIVE
After receiving this player as a gift for x-mas, at first I was amazed by what it offered. It was incredibly small, and extremely light. 32 MB of space does seem like a lot when you first think about it HOWEVER, its really not!! I was incredibly...

Pros: Good 2-3 weeks, but then only good for a Paper Weight Cons: Horrible Bass and Trebble controls. Also, Bad Battery compartment placement
As you might know, Diamond PMP300 was rated highly is the Best Buy and Circuit City adds, but was inaccurate and very false advertising. For Instance, I bought mine at my local Best Buy store and the first few weeks were fantastic. With the mind...

Pros: No moving parts, can make mixes easily, no skipping, sturdy Cons: Expensive, Antiquated
I first got my RIO PMP300 as a Christmas gift and I have been satisfied ever since. It is a sport and exercise maniac’s dream. It is great to save money. It is a pop teen's dream. With all these advantages it was a little expensive and there are better...

Pros: small, lightweight, "skip-proof" Cons: limited storage capacity, mediocre encoder
As a consumer product, the Rio is very well designed. The controls are intuitive to anyone who has used a CD player. The device itself has a reasonably solid feel, aided by the lack of the moving parts and opening doors found on other portable music...

Pros: Small, lightweight, cheap Cons: Doesn't hold a lot of music
The Diamond Rio PMP300 portable music player is perfect. It's so lightweight that I can hardly feel it on my belt, the quality of sound is good, and for the low price it holds a lot of music. What I like best is that it's tiny, smaller than my wallet....

Pros: Easy to use, compact, fairly cheap, works well Cons: Lack of memory, outdated look, poor headphones
I've had my Rio player for almost a year now and although it is the most basic model on the market it has served me well.
I'm a marathon runner and I mainly use it to help the miles go by on my long training runs. The software is easy to use and...
