Pros: Inexpensive. Excellent sound. Excellent features. Cons: No radio tuner. No carrying case. Low quality cassette adapter.

Pros: Good value, nice size. Cons: Some functions are somewhat difficult to use.

Pros: Almost everything about the unit...alphabetically orders the songs from the disc, great EQ's, the screen Cons: A little big for our 'Mini' world, skips more often than an MP3 player

RCA RP2485 Personal CD Player....POS
by zemmiphobiac ,Jan 05 '05
Pros: Looks pretty, worked great, when it worked. Cons: Everything, made to last a drop on a pillow.
I had this CD player for about 2 months before it started acting up, in various ways. I only used it for my car attached to my cassette deck for travelling long distances. Right around the warranty time the cd player would not start up, would skip once started, and would shut off when it wanted to. So basically i had no control at all over a machine. I tried to return it to....ewwww...Kmart, but they said that it never existed and that somehow i bought a cd player that they never stocked, go figure, in Kmart. I tried calling the manufacturer, but since RCA was bought out by Thompson, i was unable to reach a real live person. SO then i sent the CD player via mail to the company that makes and distributes them, only to get it back unopened and beat to all H by the USPS.
