Pros: Wireless lets you expand your speaker coverage easily Cons: Sound quality is poor and these won't suffice as primary speakers
PURCHASE and PACKAGING I bought a set of these speakers as 'Refurbished' for about $20. They were packaged properly, in flawless condition with documentation that explained the setup procedure. SETUP Setup was easy when I followed the directions. I ...

Pros: Easy set up, any/every cable and power cord included, after tuning little to no interference/static Cons: Lackluster sound quality, good but not for audio buffs
You know when you got a computer back in the day from Gateway or Packard Bell? Well these are those speakers without the wires. I had a New Years party and no stereo to entertain guests. Rather than put a CD in the DVD player and run it through the ...

Lousy Reception
by qzmn ,Jan 01 '08
Pros: NONE Cons: Lousy reception
Lousy reception from the very next room. The speaker must be positioned to get any decent reception and then you get a static click every 20 - 40 seconds.

They dont work
by timpadden ,Dec 07 '05
Pros: They look nice Cons: They do not live up to what RCA claims they will do
I have tried everything to make these speakers function
RCA Claims that they:
"Invisibly connects with virtually any audio source
Transmits up to 125 ft. for use anywhere in the home or outdoors
Go through walls and floors"
I cant get them to work 10 feet away from my stereo

Not worth anything more than $35
by fletch63 ,Jul 25 '06
Pros: Easy to setup Cons: Poor Speaker Quality
If you pay $35 or less, these are fine speakers, but no better than a set of desktop computer speakers. I found the quality of sound to be very poor and the last RCA purchase I'll make. This brand is not what it used to be.

Not very good
by abinnie ,Sep 27 '04
Pros: Nice idea, and they look good Cons: Very poor sound quality and reception
I wanted to pipe sound from my stereo to my bathroom. However, I never got past the set up phase which involves tuning the speakers very close to the transmitter. Even from 10 feet away, the reception was not very clear, and the sound quality was terrible. Carrying a speaker into the bathroom 75 feet and two drywall layers away completely lost the signal. Wireless speakers are a great concept, but these are not good for music. Maybe if you just wanted to listen to talk radio or sports they would be OK.
