Pros: Inexpensive, repackaged Pioneer DVR-105. Dependable, not fancy. Cons: Software is basic. Some tricks to using faster media. Shorter warranty.
I purchased a Cendyne DVR-105 on a whim, when I came across it at OfficeMax with a big rebate - it was $100 less than it's nearest competitor at that time. It's a rebranded Pioneer DVR-105, with a 90-day warranty and a different software package.

Pros: Very low price, available everywhere, reliable. Cons: No dvd r or dvd rw support.

I love it.my uses:back up a hard drive on a couple discs,archive family photos and keep the photo files large for pic quality,veiw photos on my tv through my home player,DVD-R IS compatible w/ almost if not all home players,it is a 4X DVD-R burner.actual manufacturer is a name brand you know.It works perfect Everytime. Windvd,and home video to dvd software included, so my son's football games,and family get togethers are now on dvd.
