Cons: Too easy?

I usually only play shooters and Halo 2 is my favorite game but Shrek 2 is really fun. I just wouldn't buy it. I rented it and beat it in like 2 nights at a leisurely pace. This game is great because 4 people can play. It is hilarious as well. I laughed so much playing this game. I can almost guarantee that you will not get frustrated with this game. In this game you can play as every character and they all make hilarious comments. The concept of having challenges fit for each different character is the best! You have to work together in this game and use each character's special traits to get through levels. It is a little too easy but that is because it is for the younger ages.

Well, if you love the Shrek series, you will absolutely love to watch this game. The learning curve is simple, the levels are long but not complex. If you're an average gamer, you probably want to skip this title, it will be beneath you.
Even if you hate Shrek anyone who plays this game has to agree that Ginge ROCKS! He's the only character I ever want to play with, but the game set up doesn't allow for that.
Overall, Shrek 2 plays more like a party game. There are always 4 characters on the screen even if you play alone. But if you play alone it slows down the game play and makes things extremely repedative fast! If you have all four players going at once, it's often hard to move (the screen won't advance without all four characters) and very difficult to get things accomplished.
If you really adore Shrek, or if you have a couple of younger children, pick up this title and they'll probably enjoy it for a long time. For everyone else, rent before you buy, you are very likely not like this as a game.
