Well, I knew that this was the TV that I wanted, so I really didn't have to compare other Tv's. I read other reviews and many people loved this set. The first few things that I noticed that I love about this set are: Colors = Vibrant, Crisp Sharp ...
Pros: Picture quality, adjustment features, sound quality, programmable remote, numerous input/output jacks in the back, Cons: WEIGHT. WEIGHT. WEIGHT.
It's hard to know where to begin. I've had this TV for about 6 months, and can't say enough good things about it. Especially since it only cost $1900. I realize that's a lot of money, but this is one awesome TV. There are tons of input/output options on ...

Pros: good picture, have you ever seen a bad hi def picture?
lots of bells and whistles. Cons: The $1800 set weighs over 200 lb
quit working after 4 years!!!! No customer support
We bought the Sony Wega KV34hs510 based upon the company's solid reputation of reliability. A new house needed a new hi def tv, so we did the research and the had great reviews and features. After four years of normal family use, the tv would not turn on. A "sony" repair service determined that the "d" board was defective and total repairs would be $430.00.
I asked the repairman what the set was worth once working and he said about the $430 if we could find a buyer.
Sony customer service appreciated the feedback, I thought was a complaint, and said tough luck bucko. We paid over $1800 for the set, and might be able to sell it for $430 after paying $430 to have the power supply changed out. I have a digital camera and 5 cd disc player, both sony products crap out as well. Sony is living off a reputation that long longer is deserved.. do not buy sony!!!!!
