Terrific buy for the money!
by momofpeazulpie ,Mar 08 '04
Pros: Everything Cons: Wish you didn't have to scroll through all the times to set the VCR.
This television/VCR/DVD is terrific! I bought it for our basement because it is finished and our daughter plays down there a lot. It's not where we watch most of our TV so I was willing to get a lesser brand with lesser quality mostly to play children's videos and DVDs. I couldn't have been more surprised by the great sound and picture quality. Amazing! Also does a great job playing CDs. Even if you aren't being cheap (which I was) this is a great buy for your money. I know our bedroom television is on its last legs and I can assure you that I will buy this television again to replace it.

A Functional TV Combo at a Terrific Price
by matein3 ,Mar 29 '04
Pros: low price, functional Cons: can hear whirring sound when playing VHS tapes, limited connectors for sound/video
My main reason for buying this product was to replace an aging 13" TV in our bedroom. I purchased this unit from Wal-Mart on 03/07/2004. This unit was about $100.00 dollars cheaper than comparable 19" units. Overall I am very pleased with this product. It doesn't have much in the way of frills, but it does display cable channels and DVD/VHS videos would no noticeable defects. I would consider the picture quality to be average. The only feature that I found a little annoying is that you can hear a distinct whirring sound when playing VHS tapes. The sound and video connectors are very limited, but this is a non-issue for me as I'm not connecting any high-end equipment to this unit. Overall, this is a functional product at a price that can't easily be beat.
