Pros: Power cord coils up and stores neatly.
Stands up when not in use. Cons: Really, nothing good can be said.
After 1 use, we're taking it back.
Family-size (4 sections) Model TWB4BEL Package proclaims "Deeply indented, old-world style..." The indentations could hardly be more shallow. So, if you pour in your usual amount of batter, instead of filling the "deeply indented" cooking surface, the ...

Pros: Low cost, easy to store Cons: Very hard to clean, thin, underdone pseudo-Belgian waffles, no heat adjustment.
I had previously written an express review of this waffle maker and rated it as acceptable. The more I use it, the less I think of it. I have yet to get a waffle that was close to being done. And I like mine a bit bready & chewy. Not chrisp. Every ...

Pros: Baker feeds four kids at once making less time for moms in kitchen. Cons: So far I have found none and have used it 2x
This is a great Baker for a big family. It is easy to use and makes 4 at a time! We were a little worried about buying this waffle baker because of the reviews here on Epinion's and also never hearing of the brand. Turns out it is a great iron and I ...

Waffle maker never heated up
by hummusterri ,Dec 26 '06
Pros: 4 waffles at a time Cons: didn't work
One of the few family sized waffle makers on the market here where we live. After receiving it as a Christmas present, made batter, plugged it in, and waited, and waited, and waited.... after 30 minutes, called customer service. It never reached cooking temperature.
Customer service was courteous and polite. We have a receipt so we're taking it back.

Simple waffle maker, works great
by arthaey ,May 19 '07
Pros: fast, easy, stores on its side for a slim profile Cons: only makes 2 waffles (but that's perfect for a single person!)
I haven't had any problems with my waffle maker. It heats up in exactly the same amount of time it takes me to get the batter ready. I pour in the batter, wait 2 minutes, and enjoy my waffles!
The surface is amazingly non-stick; I've never needed to clean it beyond wiping down the outside plastic when I pour too much batter in. (And that's clearly my fault, not the waffle maker's.)

very good results
by quiltjudge ,Apr 28 '09
Pros: Ease of cleaning - waffles done in two/three minutes -easy to store Cons: Inner plates for waffles cannot be removed for cleaning ;would have preferred on/off switch
After reading the other reviews on the Toastmaster Belgian Waffle maker TWB4, we were concerned about the ease of using this. My husband loves waffles so we took a chance. I followed advice found in one review and instead of making my usual "from scratch" recipe, did the one from a boxed pancake/waffle mix. The trick seems to be to make sure that it is fully heated. I poured directly into the center of each square and let it spread thinly to the outer edges before closing the lid. The waffles came out browned and fluffy - not crisp and overdone along the edges and raw in the middle. Super easy to wipe clean with a damp paper towel - no spillover - great taste. Will use this item often!
