Pros: Friendly Fans, Good Seating, Short waits for Food and Bathroom, $12 Tickets Cons: Metal Benches in General Admission Section, Plain and Simple Scoreboard System
I was really bored this past weekend and decided I would head up to New Jersey to visit my best friend that I hadn’t seen in almost half a year. Being a student at West Virginia University, I also thought about going to the WVU/Rutgers game which was ...

Birthplace of college football.
by parthboy ,Jan 14 '06
Pros: Cannon, the big screen. Rush the field 3 times in a season. Cons: Seats very uncomfortable.

Every December and January, we are all glued to the TV to watch explosive and exciting bowl games. No one realizes that football started in the school that has been possibly one of the worst programs in the last few years.
But football has taken Rutgers by storm. Each game has been electrifying and a great experience it has been this season. The first winning season in over a decade was accomplished on the home coming game and the whole school celebrated on the field. It's a great place to witness football now, despite the weak big east conference. If you sit in the student section, prepare to stand for 3 hours.
The playing field is artificial turf. The Jumbo screen is great for replays. But the best part of the stadium is the cannon that goes off after each Rutgers score.
