Pros: As told by Ginger is a new show geared toward girls. Funny and heartwarming. Cons: None so far.
Nick has some new shows on their Sunday night line up and one of the new cartoon shows my daughter has taken a liking to is As told by Ginger. I've sat and watched a couple of episodes with her and I find it entertaining as well.
Ginger...

Pros: Nick Jr is great! Cons: Nickelodeon isn't.
I am a very strict parent when it comes to what is good enough for my children. While I do not allow my boys to watch the Nickelodeon programming, I do, however, encourage them to watch the Nick Jr. shows.
Nick Jr. offers great programs...

Pros: A couple shows I can stand. Cons: Read on...
I, like most children, grew up with Nickelodeon in the early 90s. It was the best thing since video games. The shows were always funny and entertaining and fairly realistic for what a Early 1990's preteen station could give us. But now, Nick just ...

Pros: Great for kids and adults Cons: few
I've got them all, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, and TV Land. Each one has great programming. I just love the old shows like I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith, The Jeffersons and yes, even The Brady Bunch. They play all the classic...

Pros: Some of the best television shows in history Cons: Some of the shows they air are barely ten years old. It would be like playing REM on the golden-oldies station. They're classic, but not of the same generation. Eventually, but not yet. You know?
Four years ago, I would have given this station 5 starts. 6, even.
I used to be obsessed with Nick at Nite. I had the books, the board games, and even the one-time 10 year anniversary issue of Nick at Nite Magazine, with the little silver...

Pros: The key word is fun Cons: can be too repetitive sometimes
I realize that Nickelodeon is generally considered a children's station. They do have a lot of quality programs that children adore. I have nephews and nieces that love Blue's Clues, Franklin, Little Bear et al. These are programs that probably...

Pros: Excellent quality viewing, Something for everyone Cons: Perhaps the repetition of some shows, but this isn't a major issue
I love this channel! There are a variety of shows that my son watches daily as well as the nighttime lineup that I love to watch. The preschool lineup during the day is a lifesaver for the parent with the active toddler. I can turn the channel on while...

Pros: Great educational TV Cons: Too much is not good; we never see our kid!
My children absolutely love Nickelodeon. My daughter just got a TV for her room for her birthday, and we hardly see her anymore! (Maybe that's not so good?) My 18 month old twins love to watch Little Bear, Franklin, and Gulla Gulla Island. They just...

Pros: Nick-at-Nite, the place for TV hits and the station that spawned TV Land! Cons: The majority of the rest of their shows, which are aimed for children and seem as though they were written by them, and un-educated ones at that!
If Nickelodeon stuck to its 6:00 am to 9:00 pm lineup, I would loathe it. However, if Nickelodeon stuck to it's 9:00 pm through 6:00 am line-up, it would be one of my favorite stations on cable. Since they alter between these two line-ups, I am resorted...

Pros: clean, colorful Cons: We do have other channels!
Nick at Nite is a wonderful place for a family to be. My 13 year old son enjoys all Nick at Nite's reruns!! He enjoys watching shows that are funny without all of the nudity and language most modern shows have. What is TV without "The Fonz"...
