Nick Jr. has been wonderful for my 2 year old son. He has been watching since he was about 8 months old!! The programs are so educational and he is captivated by them all. He has practically every Blue's Clues episode memorized and has learned so much...

Pros: Great for the kids, tried and true
Cons: Inconsistent, increasing notice of downhill quality

Nickelodeon's block consists of three sub-divisions within the channel itself.

In the morning, it's Nick Jr. For the most of the day it is Nickelodeon. At 9:00 PM it becomes Nick @ Nite, with classic TV Land-like shows.

Nickelodeon, on the whole, it great for kids, even the Nick @ Nite. The programs are generally good quality.

However, the channel is rapidly going downhill. Fast, fast. The potty humor is filling up in many shows and the commercials. It's just going to seed. Watch it while it's worth it!

Also, Nickelodeon always tinkers with the scheduled unannounced.

Watch it for now...maybe not next year though!
