Pros: Good food. Cons: Not as friendly. Customer service abroad was not as hospitable.
This was my first time flying with Air France to London from NYC. (I really wanted to fly British Airways.) I was traveling with a friend (first time out of the country). We left from JFK and everything went smoothly until we landed and were making a...

Pros: Polite staff, communicative attendants, great food, and lots of it, many offers of beverages. Cons: One seat requested not available, take off Chicago late, no impact on connecting flight.
I recently went on a trip to Syria and Lebanon and chose Air France to travel from Chicago to Paris to Damascus, then Beirut to Paris to Chicago. The only disappointment was that I was not put in the seat that I thought I had chosen on the flight ...

We traveled on Air France from Newark, USA to New Delhi, India via Paris, France on 10-Dec-2006. We were two adults and two kids and checked-in 5 pieces of baggage. We had checked-in more than 3 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight from ...

Pros: Professional and satisfied service; comfortable environment; safe and quick flight. Cons: Less discount during the year.
I am a 20 year-old girl. In 2001, I flew from Paris to Niger with Air France to visit my father who worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there. Niger, which is an inland country in western Africa.
That was my first time to enjoy Air France...

Pros: Good food, nice in-flight service, seats even in coach are nice Cons: Snotty, stuck-up staff at the airport, chaotic stand-by service
Overall, I loved my several Air France experiences. The food and comfortable seating are my most vivid memories. I didn't think airline food could taste so good unless you were in first or business class.
The coach seating on most of their...

On December 26th I was scheduled on flight 071 from LAX to Paris, France at 9:25 pm. That afternoon I received a voice recording message from Air France stating my flight had been delayed due to mechanical problems in Papetee. Since I was already on...

Pros: Good service, good food, good entertainment, friendly staff. Cons: For some, it can be a little difficult to sleep in the seats.
Being a 17 year-old student and having never been on an airplane in my life beforehand, I have to admit that I was scared the minute that I stepped into JFK airport in New York (this was a trip to France with 24 of my fellow classmates and three ...

Pros: Nice planes Cons: Terrible customer care
I am of French nationality and live in the US. For the past 10 years, I have traveled between the US and France several times a year almost exclusively with Air France to build customer loyalty with them. A few weeks ago, I learned early in the ...

Pros: Nice service; comfortable seats; 2 meals served Cons: Charles de Gaule airport; late take off; misplaced luggage; short connections
I flew with Air France on July 25, 2005 from JFK to Rome. The flight was about 45 min - 1 hour delayed taking off. This was not necessarily their fault but it caused the group I was with (about 47 people) to miss the connecting flight in Paris to Rome. ...

Pros: friendly service people, okay food Cons: lost baggage, dishonesty, customer comes last, disorganization
I got to CDG on time January 6 to find that my flight had been over-booked by 42 people. Somehow I did manage to get on to the plane, but plenty of others did not, and we left more than an hour late. Arriving in Boston, already late, I spent another hour...

Pros: Compensation for overbooked flights, cute staff, delicious inflight food, self-serve drinks Cons: Routinely overbooked flights, reputation for losing baggage
Thanks to the European Union's agreement in January to boost compensation for air passengers who are "bumped off" overbooked flights, or suffer from the cancellations or delays, Air France is the place to be. As long as you come to the airport 3 hours ...

Pros: True French experience, where *you* be the one to be having the fun ... Cons: ... accordingly don't expect to be thanked for oppressing the workers.
I love Air France as it is just so quintessentially French. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) this review pertains to intra-European flights only. Living in Paris, Air France is usually the cheapest (youth fares) and most effective way to fly ...

Pros: can't think of any Cons: lousy food, awful customer service, attitude problems, total disregard for customers
I flew Air France in May from PHL to Marseille. Although I had flown Air France 2 years before and hadn't been happy about it, I decided to give in another try.
So here I am at the check-in counter in Philly, standing in a long line. Once we...
