Pros: good diving Cons: Way overpriced everything else on the island
Third week of February, I spent three nights in Nassau. Mainly I came to do some diving with Stuart Cove's. The diving was a professional and smooth operation. It wasn't exactly free. It cost me $170 for two days of resort diving. The dive included...

Pros: Shopping - especially Jewelry and Watches Cons: Not what you picture when you close your eyes and think "Paradise"
Close your eyes. When you think Paradise, what do you see? Do you see a beautiful sand beach, with a sailboat anchored in the bay? Do you see a hammock swaying in the wind between two palm trees? O.K. - open your eyes. For if this is what you are...

Pros: The most beautiful Resort in the Bahamas Cons: The restaurants are a little expensive
My husband and I went to Atlantis in September of '99, this review is a little late but after reading some of the negative reviews, I thought I would give my opinion.
We absolutely loved this Resort. We had reservations for the Beach Tower...

Pros: Many machines to choose. Cons: No luckier there than any other casino!
One of the best things about Nassau is nearby Paradise Island. It is a beautiful, clean island. But my time there was spent indoors at the Atlantis Resort and Casino. The resort is gorgeous and well known because at one time Merv Griffin owned it. It...

Pros: Beautiful scenery, fantastic beaches, aqua blue water.
Cons: 3rd world country, panhandling, VERY expensive!!
My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Nassau. Before you go, keep this in mind. The Bahamas is a 3rd world country. The people are very nice but also very poor. They will constantly try to get you to buy cigars, beads, marijuana and...

Pros: Close to US Cons: Expensive, third world feel.
Just returned from a week at Sandals, will not be going back.
The all inclusive price turns out not to be a good deal unless you eat, drink, play at least twice what a normal person/couple could.
Paid over 4000.00 for my wife and I for 7...

Pros: Pool, low cost, casino Cons: Hotel is ugly
Cant afford to stay at Paradise Island? Try the Nassau Marriott Resort and Casino. I stayed at this hotel recently I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is large with 800+ rooms. Most rooms have a great view of the ocean due to the way the buildings are...

Pros: Casino's Cons: Horrible local food and local water supply
First i must say the beauty of this Island is astonishing. However it is slowly losing it's prestige as one of the nicer areas in the caribbean. When I went there I went cheap, cheap hotel, cheap location cheap tour company. Well i got what i payed for....

Pros: Great food, Great atmosphere, Great service Cons: If you don't like good food and a good atmosphere - don't go!
If you ever go to Nassau you must plan to eat at the Poop Deck! It is a great local restraunt on the eastern end of the island, looking out at Paradise Island. It has a great full bar and excellent local cuisine. I strongly recommend getting their...

Pros: caters to the children, everything is wonderful, and very clean Cons: a bit on the expensive side
Our trip to the Atlantis in April was a truly memorable experience. They had recently finished the newer part of the hotel and the brochures were so absolutely gorgeous we just had to go. We took a shuttle to the hotel, and were greeted by a gorgeous...

Pros: crystal clear blue beaches, friendly people, good shopping bargains, conch salad Cons: pushy street vendors and tour guides
Nassau is a great place to visit if you like crystal clear water, friendly people and laying on the beach having bahama mamas delivered to you. During the day there are many activities to choose from. You can rent a boat or a wave runner(be sure to...

Pros: many luxurys and unique, but incredible things Cons: long plane ride
Paradise Island in the Bahamas is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It ranks up there with Bermuda. The island pretty much consisted of one huge hotel called Atlantis. This was the biggest hotel I've ever seen anywhere in my...
