Pros: Unforgettable scenery. Cons: Don't leave kids alone at Clifton Hill.
We stayed at the Best Western Fallsview Hotel for a long weekend. The hotel is in a good location (you can walk to the Imax, the Falls and the Skylon Tower).
The rooms had that 1970's feel, but they were clean. The one bedroom suite was...

Pros: Lots to do in a relatively close range Cons: Has become a tourist trap
I had gone to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls recently. I had reviewed some of the reviews on epinions before I went, but I found that, while many of the highlights were mentioned, several helpful hints were not mentioned.
Hotels:
If...

Pros: the falls, fireworks every friday, some cool attractions Cons: way over priced, way too commercial, casino is a rip off,
I live a twenty minute drive from the falls. We go every once in a while just for fun, but it's too hard to find parking where you want it and all of the attractions are so overpriced that we've never been on most of them despite living here.

Pros: The Falls Cons: Price
Review Topic: Sights & Attractions
The Attractions by the falls are by far the most interesting. The Canadian side is more City and the American Goat Island is a touch of Country/Park. You can do just about every thing in 4...

Pros: a lot of things to do Cons: expensive
I recently returned from a trip to Niagara Falls. I had an amazing time, but there are some thing everyone should know. First of all, Canada is VERY expensive. The hotel was cheap ($45 a night, and it was really nice), but everything else is...

Pros: Beautiful wonder of nature, activities for the whole family Cons: Not much to do if you stay any longer than a few days
Niagara Falls is a truly magical place. You cannot help but be taken aback by the awesome beauty of nature in all its fury. I first visited the falls in the winter of 1998, and have never tired of going back there. I even had my honeymoon there, and it...

Pros: awesome falls Cons: none
I have to agree that Ontario is a great trip for a weekend getaway.
As a teenager living in suburban Detroit my family packed up the camping gear and headed to Niagara Falls. It was one of my most memorable trips.
Leaving after...

Pros: falls Cons: tourist trap
I recently went to Niagara Falls with my fiancee and his teen daughter and niece. They loved it because of the crowds and activity and "cool places"- Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood. I thought it was one of the worst trips I have ever taken. If you do...

Pros: One of the natural wonders that all ages can TRUELY enjoy! Cons: Touristy
We recently returned from a trip to Canada to visit the falls. While we only live 2 hours from the Canadian and American Falls, we always seem to enjoy the Canadian Side more. We made a weekend of it with our 4 children and stayed at the Marriott falls...

Pros: To many to list Cons: The food could have been better
My husband and I went to Niagara Falls for our 10th Anniv. We had a great time. Our hotel was overlooking the falls. When we looked out we were looking right down into the falls. We would sleep with the window open at night so the we could hear it....

Pros: It is just so beautiful Cons: The cost
I just recently went to New York to visit some family. I went up to Niagara Falls and i thought that it was so beautiful. I love the mountains right above my home in California, but this is now my favorite. On the American side you can see the Falls and...

Pros: Getting married at Niagara Falls made our wedding day perfect! Cons: none
We went to Niagara Falls to get married on June 9, 2001. We started planning it 3 months in advance. Everything was arranged through the internet and by phone. We went through the Falls Wedding Chapel and arranged for an outdoor wedding about 50 feet...

Pros: expensive Cons: beautiful, fun
Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, is one of the most beautiful views one may ever behold. No matter where you are standing, there is a rainbow, and almost any picture you take turns out more like a postcard.
Other than the Falls itself,...
