Pros: great place to watch people Cons: no lions except for in statue format, no attractions
Italy is a country in Europe. It is well known for looking like a boot. It is also well known for pasta and gelato and wine and olive oil. Besides that, it is known for Romans who came from Rome which used to be an independent city-state but it now a ...
Pros: Great location for pictures Cons: No attractions to see
The Italy Pavilion at EPCOT will always hold a fond place in my memories, as I was married there only a few months ago. And although the wedding was originally planned for another location, I could not possibly think of another spot in Disney World (or ...
Pros: very picturesque, relaxing, evokes Italy Cons: nothing to do, shops expensive, very expensive restaurant
Perhaps the most picturesque and lovely spot in all of Epcot is the Italy Pavilion in the World Showcase. A large space designed like a courtyard, it's filled with pointed archways, statuary, and fountains. Outdoor seating of different sorts abounds. If ...
Pros: Some of the food is good, Entrees aren't great. Cons: Expensive menu lacks variety
Visiting "Italy" is, for us, coming home in a way. My great-granparents emigrated to the US from Italy. My husband's grandparents arrived here in the states when they were young, also. You can see why pasta is a main staple in our home,...
Pros: beautiful, authentic area with good food, a nice kidcot stop and fun shopping! Cons: no attractions, limited entertainment.
I love everything about Italy. So, when we go to Epcot, I love to go into the area of Italy for a picture or two. Usually, as soon as we get into this area- my two girls want to head right for the KidCot fun stop. They have a nice one here where the ...
Pros: Wine flights (samplings), shopping. Cons: Don't expect as much as other World Showcase pavilions.
If you are making a tour around the World Showcase at Epcot, you will find the Italy pavilion does not have as many features as the other pavilions. There are no rides and only limited shows, so that leaves shopping and dining as its primary features. ...
Pros: Beautiful glassware in the shop, and performers wonderful to watch Cons: Food not worth the high prices
We were just wandering through the countries, stopping at the different shops, tasting the exotic foods and having a great time in the moderate April weather. It just so happened to be when we were in Italy, that a male singer performing light opera to...
Pros: Great street performers, almost authentic atmosphere Cons: over-priced, over-popular restaurant
The Italian pavilion is not my favorite section of Epcot's World Showcase. I do love the buildings though, and I think Disney succeeded in hinting at the feeling of an authentic Italian piazza.
The restaurant is ok, but nothing special. There...
Pros: Wonderfully helpful people, beautiful artwork & architecture, graet food & wine! Cons: Rainy & cold in winter months
My husband and I recently spent 2 1/2 weeks traveling the Italian peninsula. What a wonderful, beautiful country! We visited Venice, Florence, Rome, Assisi, Pompeii & many more places.
We were staying with his Mother in Vicenza, about 40 miles...
My wife and I dined with another couple in October at the L' Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in the Italian pavilion. The ambiance of the restaurant is fairly nice although it's very crowded (like most restaurants at Epcot). We sampled the Italian ...
Being Italian, maybe I was a little more excited to go to Italy and take in the atmosphere which I loved. I thought it was very authentic, unlike the food. I expected the food to be amazing and it tasted more like chef boyardee from a can. Very Disappointing and very overpriced. Great service though, too bad food did not meet the same quality.
Still really enjoyed Italy for the street performers and the rest it had to offer. Will definately visit Italy again next year on next time I will arrive on a full stomach.
Pros: Can't really think of any, the singers weren't even that entertaining. Cons: Our group had three different meals there and they were all hideous.
Our worst experience at a Disney Resort EVER was dinner at the Italian Restaurant in EPCOT. Bad food, poorly prepared (Veal was tough as shoe leather) and at high prices. It's our "Never Never Land" We will NEVER, EVER go there for dinner again. A Huge DISAPPOINTMENT.
The Olive Garden as I recall is superior to this restaurant in almost every way. I hate paying top dollar for poorly prepared food and the garbage they served us was almost not worthy of consumption.
