Pros: Fun for a while, good soundtrack... Cons: ... but gets boring quite quickly...
The best-selling Playstation 1 game of all time with over ten million units sold, Gran Tourismo was a formidable and quite innovative game at the time. I remember playing it on a friend's PS1 years ago and being quite amazed by its graphics and ...
Pros: Realistic physics, smooth frame rate, tight cars. Cons: This game has forced me to compromise my rigid set of gaming morals.
Wife: "Honey, you were supposed to wake me up at 11:00! We were supposed to get stuff done today! Don't tell me you've been playing that game ALL NIGHT."
Me: "I was going to wake you up at 11:00, Gorgeous. It's only, like, a quarter after...
Pros: Countless options, challenging races Cons: Can't save to PS2 memory cards
First off, let me say that you shouldn't buy this game for a Playstation 2 unless you plan on buying (or already own) a memory card for the older Playstation system. You cannot save your Gran Turismo games on the Playstation 2 memory cards.
Pros: The realistic gameplay. It'll take you ages to complete. Great sound. Good graphics. Cons: It's getting on a bit. Slightly dodgy A.I. No damage on car models.
Didn’t you just love the Playstation One? It was the games console of the 90’s, with the coolest and best games, nice graphics, and a very cool image. All your mates had one, so multiplayer was never a problem. It changed the face of...
Pros: decent price, still quality game, great graphics, addictive gameplay Cons: can't compete with future gran turismo editions
The Gran Turismo series may be in it's third edition, but if you are a bargain hunter looking to snap up a quality game at a knock-down price, then you won't go far wrong by snapping up the original Gran Turismo game from your local video game retailer....
Pros: Great graphics, especially the REPLAYS!! Cons: I wish I could go off track...
The first time I saw this game was actually on a demo disc for the Playstation. I was pretty surprised at the graphics of the game, especially the replay. I bought the game not long after, and I raced with it for quite a while. I remember one time my Mom...
Pros: A gritty racing simulation Cons: Renown for its slick post-game replays; GT has surprisingly poor in-game graphics
In 1998, more than six years after aspiring filmmaker Kazunozi Yamauchi first pitched the idea to Sony, Gran Turismo was released. The innocuous driving game would become Sony’s best-selling franchise on PlayStation and forever change the façade of...
Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: a little dated, but god, how little does that matter?
Hey, fellow Epinioners, yes, it's been quite a long time between drinks for me, but I was somewhat busy and I really didn't have any product that I was interested in enough to review - and then one day it struck me, why not go back to the classics??...
Pros: Great Graphics, Real Cars, Cheap Price Cons: Older Game
I bought this game because it was cheap, not really knowing what to expect. I knew it was an older game for the playstation and that a lot of people seemed to enjoy it. That was about all I knew.
Pros: Fast Paced, Addictive Fun Cons: Can Get Very Hard!
I was still in college a couple of years ago when Gran Turismo came out, and one of my roommates had rented it on a whim. We spent the entire weekend thoroughly entranced with the game; our every waking hour was spent playing the fabulous racing...
Pros: great graphics, tons of car tuning, 140 cars Cons: repedative songs, tricky to learn
Ok we have here the king of all racing games. With tons of cars, lot's of awesome and challenging tracks, great sound, and on top of all that awesome graphics you just can't beat this game (except GT2). Also this game is dirt cheap (around 20 bucks)...
Pros: It has Aston Martins and TVR's. Cons: Replayability. The game fades a bit after a while!
This was the best Playstation racing game ever, it was unlike any racing game to have gone before but due to pressure from other games just as worthy of the title (such as toca2, wip3out, ridge racer type 4, v-rally 2, have i mentioned every good racing...
Pros: great graphics, realistic Cons: must have memory card to battle others
I bought this game because a cousin did, and I wanted to race against her. When I got the game, I had to get it home before I realized I had to have a memory card before I could save a profile to race with.
Gran Turismo is the best racing game for Playstation for many reasons, it is the most realistic racing game, and it sells for 20 bucks here in Canada! Well... anyway, there are over 150 licensed cars by about 10 great dealers, and 7 dealers have special...
Pros: Graphics, control, car physics Cons: No regular American Cars
I realize now that I waited way too long to buy this series. After all the excellent scores in gaming magazines and positive word of mouth advertising, I went out and bought Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2 (separate review soon).
