Use the selector switch to choose the room size to heat. From small to large rooms, this heater is effective. Includes a LCD room temperature display. This Black & Decker heater fan also includes a series of safety features. Foremost is the exclusive Fireshield. This component is an ACLI power cord that not only turns the heater off if a shock hazard exists, but also turns the heater off if the line cord is damaged. The unit will also shut itself off when the unit is picked up or if it loses contact with the surface on which it is operating. In addition, it also features the added safety of auto shut off if the heater unit overheats. For convenience, this unit includes a frost watch thermostat - it can be set so that if room temperature drops below approximately 40 degrees, the heater will turn on to heat the room and prevent frost damage. Additional conveniences include a soft touch handle with cool touch housing and a fan only setting so it can be used year round. |
