| The 1997 SVX is available in two models - L, and LSi. With the exception of a new front grill, the SVX remains unchanged. The horizontally opposed boxer six-cylinder engine supplies 230 horsepower, with dual over-head cam, 24-valves and an automatic transmission. The interior offers 85 cubic in. of passenger space and 8 more cubic feet of cargo space from last year. SVX can tow up to 2000lbs and its fuel tank holds 18.5 gallons of gas. An optional CD-player, floor mats anti-theft security system are available for the L model. The LSi model has speed senitive power steering, heated side-view mirrors, leather seating surfaces and 80-watt AM/FM cassette with CD-player and six speakers. Safety features include anti-lock brakes and dual air bags. |
