The 2002 300M is available in three models: 300M, 300M Pro-Am Edition and 300M Special. Styling changes feature a redesigned grille and two new colors: Onyx Green and Light Almond. Safety enhancements include child seat anchors, electronic brake distribution, and an optional tire pressure monitoring system. The 300M is equipped with luxury amenities such as heated leather seats, a nine speaker sound system, and personalized memory for the seats, mirrors, and radio. A power moonroof and side airbags are optional. The new 300M Special features 18-inch painted aluminum wheels, performance-tuned suspension, high-intensity discharge headlights, and five additional horsepower. The Special is available in Deep Sapphire Blue, Black, and Bright Silver.
