| More Information |
| For 2002, GMC has reintroduced the Envoy to compete in the mid-size SUV market. The all new Envoy is longer, taller, and wider than the GMC Jimmy it is replacing, which amounts to a smoother ride and more interior space. The new Vortec 4200 engine provides the Envoy with an ample 270 hp and 275 ft. lbs. of torque. In addition to a new, more angular bodystyle, and a redesigned rear suspension, the interior of the Envoy has been completely redone with new instruments and controls. Standard equipment includes GMs OnStar system, side-impact airbags, four wheel disc anti-lock brakes, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Optional upgrades include a Bose sound system, running boards, and power sunroof. |
