More Information
Details: The SL-S360 includes an AC adaptor and features a 40-second ASM II memory buffer. The extra capacity will help ensure there's no CD skipping even on pothole-riddled streets or during off-road driving. This model can perform for up to 25 hours on alkalines. The player offers ASM II, which spins discs faster than normal speed, while a digital memory buffer stores the extra audio data generated. When a vertical shock (along the axis of the disc) causes a tracking error, the system plays back music from memory (up to 40 seconds) until correct tracking resumes. In addition, ASM II's sophisticated chip set corrects horizontal shocks (those that occur in the plane of disc rotation), which cause the disc to momentarily spin faster or slower. This frees up the full capacity of the digital memory buffer to deal with tracking errors caused by vertical shocks. Other features include heat resistant polycarbonate body, pop-up disc eject system and one-push full open top cover.
