BOMBERMAN HERO strays off the beaten path of other Bomberman games and scores loads of thrilling excitement in the process. Innovative gameplay and creative one-player missions have taken the place of the multiplayer functionality many have come to expect and take for granted in Bomberman titles. Sure, they may have changed a classic a little, but the one thing that the designers didn't go cheap on is the bombs. The intuitive controls allow the player to increase the number of bombs thrown at one time (from one to four) as well as alter the diameter of the blast radius. Power-ups also make available such fun accessories as the Freeze Bomb, Salt Bomb, and Remote Control Bombs, as well as the ever-popular Power Glove. The action takes place over five distinctive worlds and the designers have given BOMBERMAN HERO some new toys, like the BomberCopter, BomberMarine, BomberJet, and BomberSlider to help him combat the dangers waiting ahead. |
