This stacked version of Maytag's groundbreaking Neptune line delivers outstanding cleaning and remarkable energy and water savings in exchange for its higher price tag. The washer offers a durable stainless-steel wash basket and an energy-saving, automatic water level adjustment. Washing is done without an agitator, which saves wear and tear on clothing. A bleach dispenser and fabric softener dispenser allow these additives to enter the wash water at the appropriate time. The dryer utilizes the sensor feature while still allowing adjustment to personal preference. The four temperature settings will meet the needs of almost any fabric you choose to dry, while additional drying options are designed to prevent and/or release wrinkles in permanent press clothing.
