Details: The park consists of five islands off southern California: Anacapa, San Miguel, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Santa Rosa. Nesting sea birds, sea lion rookeries, and unique plants inhabit the area. Anacapa, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, San Miguel and a portion of Santa Cruz Islands are administered by the National Park Service. The Nature Conservancy own the western majority of Santa Cruz island. Permits are required to visit the Nature Conservancy owned section of Santa Cruz island.The National Weather Service provides detailed local forecasts at their Los Angeles / Oxnard Weather Office.
