Save Hundreds of Dollars in Orlando!
Jan 28 '00
Have you ever been to Orlando and it cost a fortune? Have you ever thought of going to Orlando but chose not to because it would cost too much money? Maybe you are just one of those people who wants to save as much money as possible and enjoy saving major bucks! If any of this fits you keep reading, these are great tips to save MAJOR money in Orlando if you have the time.
The first thing you should know is this plan will ADD and extra day to day and a half to your travel plans. This is important to the saving plan! You must also be a patient person, in some cases a VERY patient person! lol
The whole key is SO simple and can be summed up in two words! TIME SHARES!
No, I am not saying that you should or have to buy one. What I am saying is you should go on tours of them. Go on lots of tours of them! This is why:
Timeshares will pay you to tour them, with either money or tickets to the theme parks, theme dinners etc! This is how it works:
There are many booth's lining the streets of the surrounding Orlando area that say TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER. Pull over and walk up to one. You must have a checking account or credit card that they can visually see. Not to charge( just to make sure you have one) then they will ask you to pay 20.00 to set up a tour time for you of the time share they are promoting. The 20 bucks is to make sure you show up for tour and they give it back to you the minute you show up for your tour! The tour you must take is about 90 minutes after which they will ask you to buy! They will ask many times, trust me! lol When this process ends you get to go to their redemption center and pick your gift. They will either give you 2 free tickets to disney, epcot, universal studios, MGM or theme dinner theaters. You can choose what you want. On occasion you may have to chip in 10 dollars per ticket to get them.
Go to as many of these booth's as possible and set up the rest of the day and the next day. You will need 5 tours to get the maximum free! The tickets to these attractions are about 50.00 per person so 100.00 for two people.
Doing it the regular way two people will spend about 500.00 just on theme park tickets and one dinner theatre alone!
Doing it the time share way two people will spend about 50.00 !!!!!!!!!
THIS IS A GREAT SAVINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Want to save more? Pick up one of those hotel savings guides and use one of the hotel/motel coupons! I stayed on International drive for 28.00 a night in a great place!
Of course as I said in the beginning, this is not for everyone. It will take a day and a half to do and you will have to hear a lot of sales speals..... but to save 450.00...... I went for it, and did it!
