Cheap Airfare at CHEAP SEATS

Whenever I have to find cheap airfare, I always do research on the web and then wind up using CHEAP SEATS. When I travel from Los Angeles (LAX) to New York (JFK), I NEVER find a good deal on any of the commercial websites which includes travelocity.com, expedia.msn.com, aa.com (American), and ua.com (United). I also don't like using priceline because I want to be in control of my departure time.
With my frequent trips during holiday seasons from Los Angeles(LAX) to NY (JFK), I have found the greatest luck with CHEAP SEATS. I have been using this company for the past 4 years. The great thing about Cheap Seats is that they buy their tickets in bulk so they can offer them to you for a cheaper fare than the prices you see on the web or even if you call the airlines directly. I use them a lot.

-Cheaper Prices for some airlines
Over the past four years with Cheap Seats, I have managed to find most of the cheaper fares offered on TWA (and some on United) than on any of the other carrier. If they don't have cheaper flights, then they can offer you the prices you would see if you were to go to any of the sites I mentioned above. (the prices seem to be set and I have found that all the airlines have the same prices when it comes to travelling between LAX and JFK). Keep in mind that you will also need a major credit card to purchase the tickets.
*One thing to keep in mind is that the airports that I fly into (LAX and JFK) are high profile airports. If you are willing to travel into not as central airports, Cheap Seats can offer you a better selection of airlines with cheaper fares.
-Good Travel times
The travel times Cheap Seats offers are pretty numerous and flexible. It is not at all like Priceline. You dictate the time.
-Friendly service
Over the past 4 years I have been using a very patient woman over there. I had her extension listed but too many people off of here were calling her so I have to take it off now. :(
-800 number
You can call Cheap Seats toll free at 1-800-451-7200.
-Putting tickets on hold
If you're not sure if you want the tickets, you can ask Cheap Seats to put the tickets on hold. I believe they will give you a couple of days to make a decision. After that they release the tickets to the public.
-Correspondence
Cheap Seats will fax or mail your tickets and receipt to your home at no extra cost. The tickets are sent in a timely fashion. (You can order e-tickets in which you go to the airport and present them with your license and you don't need a paper ticket)

-Cheaper seats for some airlines
Cheap Seats carries the big names. As I mentioned above, most of the time I find cheaper seats on TWA and United (which are good airlines).
As I mentioned above, if you are travelling into larger airports, it may be harder to get cheaper seats on major airlines through Cheap Seats.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! You might as well give them a try and compare their prices with the prices you find on the web or with the airlines. You'll most likely find better prices. ...AS you may do with any ticketing agency, call early! The number of cheap seats this company offers is limited, so try to get it early! Overall, Cheap Seats is just another resource for someone who likes to comparison shop -and get a good deal!- before he/she makes a purchase.
