What was suppose to be a 24 hour trip turned into a 3 day nightmare..

NOTE: I had posted this before under travel.. I found that it was placed in the wrong category and got many comments on that.. Now I found the correct place to post my trip from hell...
Ok about my train adventure.. Me and my sister and my nephew decided to go to Florida last October to meet my parents at there house they own there.. Are train from Chicago was suppose to leave at 7pm.. Well according to Amtrak workers the train couldn't leave because the crew needed to "rest" before we could go.. Well hours and hours and hours past and we still were waiting.. I must say that the workers at the Chicago Amtrak were very unhelpful and rude... They did get us some food for waiting, pizza and pop..We finally were let on the train at 3am only to sit there for another couple of hours before the train departed.. Well we had to take another train from Pennsylvania needless to say we missed that train... We got into the Philadelphia train station again at 4am.. Thankfully the Philadelphia workers were a lot more helpful and got us a room in a hotel for what was left of the night until the next train to Florida departed.. We got about 4 hours of sleep before we had to leave the hotel.. We had to rush out of the hotel to get on the train and almost missed it because they didn't tell us when it was leaving until about a half hour before it departed..At least this one left on time.. You would think we were in the clear now.. Yes it did make it to Florida but almost half the time it went about 5 miles an hour, thus making what should have been a 10 hours more on the train to at least 20..
Florida was great and a lot of fun.. Amtrak is the problem.. I suggest you either fly or drive or even walk then take a train though...KEEP SMILING :) (even if your on an Amtrak train trip I know it's hard but you can do it)
