About Adamjazz

Grew up in the middle, I think, third of four boys. The house was always a circus. As if the humans weren't enough we had pets of all kinds: birds, snakes, dogs, cats -- they (we) got along most of the time. The laughter was the thing that took care of any ice that even thought of manifesting itself.
May of '03 I graduated BU with a valuable piece of paper that says History and English on it. Right now I promote the Seats of Consciousness: durable outdoor furniture built by at-risk youth made from 98% recycled materials. I moonlight as a flutist: bluegrass, bossa nova, and R&B groups.
I went to a free 10-day meditation course in June 2003. It was the hardest and most fulfilling adventure I have ever undertaken. Vow of silence, 8 hours plus per day of practicing a very simple sitting technique. Best of all, it's dogma-free! No religious conversion required! The program gets funding only from people who went through the course, reaped noticeable benefits, and wanted to support future students. The program is called Vipassana (meaning: 'seeing reality as it is'). You've got to see this: www.dhamma.org.
I drop websites like I drop honey in my tea.
Good day.
Adam
