I am a person who believes it is worthwhile to spend a little extra to get a quality product. This is especially true when it comes to beer, electronics, and vacations. You’ll find that I have epinions on a wide variety of subjects. This reflects my wide range of interest.
I grew up in Chester County, PA, which is in the southeast corner of the state, not too far from Philadelphia. Shortly after graduating from Penn State in 1993, I moved to North Carolina. Since then I met my wife, bought a house, and got married, but not all in the same week. My wife and I now share our home with two cats, each weighing over 20 pounds, and a golden retriever named Charlie.
Professionally I work as a Quality Engineer (AKA Software Tester) for Rational Software. I’ve also spoken at several international conferences on issues relating to software quality. That being said, you’ll notice that I haven’t reviewed too many software or computer products. It’s not that I don’t have opinions, it’s just that after working all day telling people about the quality of software (or lack thereof), I would rather write about most anything else.
