I am a somewhat recent UC Berkeley graduate and Bay area resident. My main preoccupations are working and sleeping, but I try to catch movies when I can. I like those quirky, character-driven movies that many people have never even heard of. Earlier this year, I complimented an Indie actor on one of his films and his retort "You Actually Saw THAT??!!" pretty much sums up the kinds of movies I like.
I'm a sucker for comedies (especially satires and romantic comedies) and tend to shy away from action films and historical metanarratives, though I'm working on more well-rounded viewing habits.
