I am a Network Operations Specialist with several years experience currently working as an IT Manager in Panama City Beach, FL.
In my spare time, I enjoy lifting weights, swimming and playing computer games though i havent had much time to do any of the above of late. I also like to meddle with various things, including a custom built, peltier-based cooling system that I am trying to design, various odds and ends related to computers, and working with my XML driven web engine that i wrote about a year and a half ago.
I enjoy reading books ranging from the military fiction of Tom Clancy to the Classics of Charles Dickens and even the engrossing medical thrillers of Robin Cook. Currently, I spend much of my time working with certification study materials in addition to my own reading on my off time. Unfortunately, you will probably never see a book review from me as I cannot critique a book really well due to my poor understandings of the mechanics of literary fiction.
I have been an epinions member for longer than most active writers, having started writing back in October of 1999. I look back at those epinions now and have deleted many of them, though several of my early writings still exist with the tags somewhat helpful and not helpful. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my writing style and any pointers that I can gain in this pursuit would be appreciated.
The money that I earn from epinions goes into my college fund to go towards paying off my loans, tuition, etc for my Bachelors degree. In addition, I have set up an associate account with amazon.com and hope to be able to accept direct college donations soon as well.
I enjoy being part of the epinions community but I will not tailor my ratings of items or articles because of friendships or because you asked me to so please stop asking. Additionally, I do not appreciate "check out my list of 150 epinions" spam mail.
