My Education : BS,B.A.,M.A., Ph.D.( University Of San Agustin. A 104-year old Catholic University run by the Agustinian Order ). Post-doctoral studies, Pepperdine University, Culver City, CA( 1989-1990 ); and Ph.D. at the University of Hardknocks ( UK ), major in Experiences.
A 22-year college teaching experience. Added to it: Editor and columnist, collegiate textbooks author, CA Security Company proprietor, Armored truck driver & ATM technician, U.S. Federal Armed Security. I am holder of Black Belt in Karate and plays amateur chess. My on-going projects: to publish my book of poetry and my first novel ( it's never too late ! ). My relaxing activities and exercise: walking for 5 miles in the early morning, gym work, karate kata or exercises, hand-gun target shooting ( my favorite handgun is SW .45. It's heavy but practical in real life's situations ), crossword puzzles and reading. Father of 6 adult children ( 4 boys and 2 girls ), 9 grandkids ( a youngest is 4 months baby girl ). One son is a civil engineer. My 2 daughters are nurses, one son got out from U.S. Navy after 3 years and now work as a hospital technician. One son works at Getty Museum and the other son works in Las Vegas and Arizona. I now devote my time to writing poetry, essays and my first novel about a modern, urban gunslinger. I intend to write and publish 3 books of poetry, a book of essays and 3 novels.
