I've been working with computers for over 20 years, and am now developing Perl and SQL applications for the Web site of a financial newsletter publisher.

Why doesn't PayPal like me? Read my review! Well, at least my problems with them aren't as severe as those of this person, who can't get his money out until he can fax PayPal a statement from his bank account which doesn't have statements -- or somebody else's problems with now-terminated sister operation x.com, which inexplicably froze their account, caused checks to bounce, then threatened to prosecute the customer! After reading several people's horror stories, I'm starting to wonder if somebody ought to be trying to get together a class action lawsuit against them or something... or maybe even federal or state criminal charges.

For another bad experience I've had, read my Allied Van Lines review about how they lost lots of my things, and got away with it because I was foolish enough to sign all sorts of stuff before realizing the extent of the loss. You can also read the good and the bad about my former Web space provider, 5bucksamonth.com... what started out as a highly glowing review took a negative direction later as I chronicled various troubles I had with them. I'm now using a different hosting provider, DreamHost; read my review!

OK... calming down a bit...
