My goals at epinions.com:
I hope to be known as a good writer (I'm working on that one), a good reader (I'm always reading the reviews of those who have been kind enough to trust me), a shrewd reviewer (Die, Hudson Hawk! Die!), and a fair rater. If your review is thorough, teaches me something I didn't know, and reads extremely well, it gets an HR. If it's good, but leaves me with a few unanswered questions, it's a recommended review. If I feel like you left out some important stuff or just didn't cover the bases, it's somewhat recommended. I save the NR's for those reviews that show no effort, totally miss the point, add in gibberish to meet the word limit or are blatantly trying to be offensive or stupid. And most of all... I do not rate people based on whether or not I agree with their opinions. After all, discord makes the world a much more interesting place.
