For a long time Gill continued her life as a perennial student studying for a degree in Humanites, followed by a year of Art History, a course with a week's residential school in London. She is now researching material for a book (involving a trip to Paris--such a hardship!).Her study has amazing views across the Worcestershire countryside.

Tony is the Finance Director of a large company.He also writes articles for CIMA. Holidays allow him to completely unwind. He edits the reviews and offers his own brand of humour (Gill tries to tame it before publication. Sometimes Tony is too quick for her and slips in a few witty words before she notices!).

We live in a beautiful part of England, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare country. We have nuthatches, woodpeckers, tree creepers and a little owl in the garden. Reg, our semi-tame cock pheasant has survived the shooting season yet again. Wild rabbits and badgers take delight in digging up our lawns.On rare occasions we have caught a fleeting glimpse of a tiny Muntjak deer. We also have lots of exceedingly clever squirrels who delight in unscrewing the bird feeders. We have a couple of very shy foxes who spend their lives coveting our neighbours' prize chickens.Our neighbours also keep rare breed sheep and(in another field)a rampant ram called Archie, so we have all the pleasure of looking at them without the responsibility.

Our hobbies are travel (obviously), reading, music, wine, theatre and photography. We like languages and once learned to get by in Arabic from a couple of BBC cassette tapes bought in a sale.

Tony has also been to some unusual places in the course of his work. Papua New Guinea, The Philippines and Ghana to name but a few. We have had some extraordinary experiences on our travels.Tony has eaten cane rat and ceremonial goat's liver. We have recently visited a rat temple in India (this seems to inadvertently be following a rat theme). We have also been guests of honour at a village wedding in Laos
