I figure you should go hard or go home.
I don't mind spending a premium on something that is of good value. You will never see my buying something for the sake of saving money on the purchase prices. I believe in the Total Cost of Ownership and that includes the cost of my pride, my stress level, my values, etc.
I'm a simple person who enjoys many things. I could be happy living anywhere in any time because I make it enjoyable; I don't blindly accept things as they are unless that's the way I like it.
I'm a Christian who believes that money is a tool that God has given us. Money is NOT the root of all evil, but the LOVE of money is. So don't love it, because you can't take it with you. Spend it wisely as God allows and make the rest work for God -- give it away, build a poorhouse, whatever have you. God loves us with all his heart, so let's love him back -- that includes loving eachother.
