How I rate
I think I rate lower than most people. Don't get mad. A review must be good to get rated very helpful. It must be detailed, accurate, and well-written. Just occasionally a very short review will have some killer piece of information that gives it top marks. Interesting, but could-do-better, reviews will usually get helpful. Poorly written reviews, hard to understand writing, very short reviews, or reviews just lacking in information about the product, will get only somewhat helpful. If the writing is so bad I can't follow it or has essentially no information about the product it will be not helpful.
I write comments on how a review could get top marks from me. Don't complain to me. If you disagree, add a comment. If you have something interesting to say, email me. If you are angry, please feel free to rate all my reviews not helpful. It so obviously not true and I get paid for it.
