My name is Shar (it rhymes with "bear"). I'm twenty-four, and let's be honest: I probably take life too seriously. If it's any consolation (for you or for me--though if my profile is causing you to need consolation, I'd wonder if maybe you didn't take life too seriously!), I am surrounded by children and teenagers every day, and I can make some stinkin' awesome grilled cheese sandwiches.

I'm trying to buy less and give more, but I have a weakness for music and books. (I was an English education major, so I'm a little picky, but I'm also a huge nerd with an overactive imagination, so I can't be too critical.) If you read my early reviews, you'll notice that I was oblivious to the fact that my childhood favorites weren't necessarily great literature. Not that something has to be great to be enjoyable. But the Babysitters Club isn't quite To Kill a Mockingbird. If it helps, you can laugh at or with the old me (or the current me, if you really need to). I love to write, I love to learn, and I love to love. Do you really want to know any more about me? Google "INFJ," and that pretty much sums up the rest.
About Reviews
I like concise, creative reviews best because I don't have time to read pages and pages about a single product. However, I know I have a tendency to turn everything into a wordy literary analysis, so I'm working on being concise myself. If your review sounds well-informed and shows some personality, I'll probably like it...and you!
How I Rate Products
***** I like this so much that I own it and have probably sent copies to all my friends.
**** I enjoyed it, I'd try it again, and I probably have purchased it.
*** It's decent. Over time, I might appreciate it more, but maybe not. That's all.
** The time it took to review the product was more valuable than time spent with the product.
