I hail from the little town of Isom, Kentucky, which I've lived in all of my life. So, yeah, I'm a small town boy but a very liberal one, as I'm a registered democrat. I go to college at Morehead State University (sophomore), where I maintain a sterling 3.84 GPA. Criminology major, psychology minor. Subject to change, of course.

The internet is my sanctuary, which I know sounds pathetic, but it's true. I'm a total MySpace waste-oid. Facebook is definitely not as good, but okay for keeping tabs on some friends. I'm a writer at heart, hence my presence on here. Combine that with my growing collection of music (approaching 500) and we have trouble, apparently.

I have a very wide array of tastes. As a true southern boy, I adore me some country music but have found a lot of love and appreciation for soul, hip hop, pop and bluegrass; I'm working on liking some rock, but it's kind of hard with the Hinders and Nickelbacks of the world. If there's one thing I hate, it's someone musically close-minded, so just listen to some of my stuff and then form your opinion on it. No need to hate something for it's reputation.

I'm a total only child, but I like to think of myself as a non-spoiled only child. Since I've been by myself my whole life, I've always loved animals, especially cats. They're very good company and a source of affection that rarely turns against you.

I'm a reformed band nerd. Trumpet player for almost three years, kids. Better recognize.
