About How I Rate
I keep it very simple:
Highly Recommended: Reviewer understands the product/service/reviewed item completely, including who the intended audience/user is, knows the how, what, when, where, and why, and speaks intelligently and thoroughly about it.
Recommended: Reviewer is familiar with most aspects of reviewed item, but leaves out details or does not articulate clearly the skinny on any particular item. Shows an understanding of the item.
Somewhat Recommended: Displays little effort, passion, or opinion. Attempts to write an honest review, yet leaves out major details, does not pay attention to detail, and is sloppy. Half effort at best.
Not Recommended: reviewer has to try to receive this rating. Either bogus or offensive, with little or no respect shown towards the community.
