My departure:
I've been involved with the Epinions community for a while now. Originally I logged on to the site as a way to waste some time during long slow down times at work. Eventually I fell in love with Epinions. I love writing, I love being read, I love reading, I love commenting, I love the people I have met. There's a family that can be found at Epinions, you just have to recognize those people you'd want to have in your family and get to know them. I've done this with quite a few of my fellow epinionators and I am so grateful for many of the stories that I've shared and have had other share with me.
I'm afraid I have to leave Epinions for now. I'll be back, don't doubt that I could never stay away for long.
I've come to the point in my life where school is a priority. I've been going to college since 1997 and I'm tired of slowly chipping away at my courses. I'm going back to school full-time which means that I needed to get another job--one with less responsibility and a flexible schedule.
I've found this perfect school job at a factory where I will be working security. I'll be forced to endure hot summers and cold winters all while wearing the cutest brown polyester uniform--and they aren't even giving me a gun! The plus side is that they will schedule me around my classes AND I will have a lot of time for homework. Those are important for the success of a college student.
I'll be checking back in and writing as the mood strikes me (with three writing intensive courses this semester alone though I don't know how frequently that will be) and will try as hard as I can to keep up on reading the Epinions of those on my WOT (sorry to the rest of you, I just don't have time).
What can I say? It's been a fun ride.
Love,
Jennifer
