I hope I don't sound like I am tooting my own horn, but I am very proud to say that I am one of the few but proud female, Arkansas State Troopers and I really like my job. I am married and have two sons, 17 years old and 6 years old that keep me pretty darn busy. We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities together. I like all types of outdoor stuff, especially working in my flower beds, riding four wheelers, camping, deer hunting and fishing. I don't mind getting my hands dirty but I get mad as heck when the dirt gets tracked into my house!! I am very self-reliant and stuburn. There is nothing that I can't do and I like to try new things. I have my own power tools, fishing boat and Honda four wheeler. I'm not a "butch" but I like to do things that push the envelope for women. I am one of four female firearms instructors with my department and I was the first women to ever win the firearms Eagle award and Top gun award. I also became the first female polygraph examiner with my department. I am blunt and to the point. I rarely mix words and most people that hang around me, don't ask my opinion unless they really want to know, because they know I tell it like I see it. When I am wrong, I don't have a problem saying so and I don't have a problem fessing up to my mistakes. I am always looking for a new challenge and shooting for a new goal for tomorrow.
