What do you want to know about me anyway? Why do you ask in the first place? Is this genuine curiosity about the nature of my being or are you simply trying to fill anoher one of those awkward voids in conversation whose nasty habbit of rendering the mood cold and disjoited causes sales of drugs for the purpose of treating social anxiety disorder to sell so well? I suppose it is of no consequence. You asked about me and I will tell you, even if you are in all likelyhood going to snicker about me and cut me up with your friends as soon as I walk away.
I'm a full time college student, full time resort telecommunications system telephone technical support, full time husband and full time smart-ass with overtime in the last catgory put in with much zeal on a regular basis. I work at Lake Tahoe and lived there for a time before I decided to get away from all that awful splendor and beauty and move 30 miles to the north to Reno where expansive stretches of desert and casinos fill the view. I think I may have gotten the short end of the stick on that move, but the jury is still out. The real reason I came was to get closer to school. I'm studying to be an author, or at least a high school English teacher who every so often will turn wistful and reminiscent in the middle of a lecture on Macbeth or Beowulf and try to convince his students that once, long ago before he became bitter and developed that tendency to drool and shout out the names of fast food menu items for no apparent reason, he was in fact an author, and a descent one at that. Of course, I'd probably be lying and they wouldn't belive me anyway. Truth is, I am working on a book, and have been for 3 years or so now. It's coming along nicely and someday, I hope you get a chance to read it, plagerize it, and make millions off the TV movie adaptation. When I'm not working, writing or in school, I try to busy myself with the culinary arts, photography, music and gathering useless trivia and facts that I know deep down will someday prevent me from being murdered for my watch and shoes while vacationing in Washington D.C.
I have a black lab named Maverick, some good friends spread throuhout the nation and a beautiful wife named Tamara. She goes by Tammy, but had I called her Tammy, you would surely have thought of a cocktail waitress or hairstylest which she is not. She is a graduate student at the University of Nevada Reno studying vocal performance and choral conducting. She's gorgeous, she loves me, and I don't have to pay her. I think I've got a good thing going.
